Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A School Psychologist position is available on a contract basis serving K-12 students in the Fairhope, AL area. This itinerant role will involve providing psychological services across multiple schools within the Mobile County Public Schools system, with exact school assignments to be determined by late March 2025. The assignment runs from March 23, 2025, through May 29, 2026, offering 37.5 hours of work per week. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12 Develop and implement intervention plans to support student learning and wellbeing Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to identify and address student needs Provide counseling and crisis intervention when needed Maintain accurate records and comply with all state regulations and licensing requirements Qualifications: Active Alabama School Psychology license is required; license verification must be provided Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred Strong assessment, diagnostic, and consultation skills Ability to work itinerantly and manage caseload efficiently across multiple schools Excellent communication and organizational skills Location: Fairhope, Alabama (Itinerant within Mobile County Public Schools) This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across diverse school communities while working on site with a supportive educational team.
