Position Details:
Title: Electrical Maintenance
Location: Axis, AL
Shift: Rotating 2 weeks days/ 2 weeks nights (12 hour shifts; 6:00 -6:00) + Rotating days off (one full weekend off every other week)
Travel: None
Compensation: Base starting $21.34/hr + Production Bonus per pay period up to 100% (Avg. 78% or $37.99/hr) + Monthly Safety Bonus Avg $800 + Overtime bonus

Position Description:
The Maintenance Operator performs industrial electrical maintenance engineering functions and repairs for plant equipment. They follow all maintenance JSA's and company safety policies. Will maintain and troubleshoot medium to low voltage control systems and power distribution. Perform lockout / tagout of equipment. Maintains plant building services, overhead lighting, heat trace circuits, 120/280V and 480V electrical distribution. Maintain and installs equipment in 480 Volt 3 phase power distribution systems. Performs Preventive Maintenance on area equipment.

Requirements:
A candidate for this role should have a minimum of a high school diploma. Candidates with degrees receive higher levels of base pay based on degree level. A candidate must have one year of experience in electrical maintenance. Candidates should have basic troubleshooting skills and be able to work 3-phase motors. Candidates should have the ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics. Candidates with knowledge in PLCs (Alen Bradley PLC5 and Control Logix 5000) and ability to troubleshoot is a big bonus.
