Recruiting a Production Manager for our client who is in the wood industry. To be considered, you must have hands-on experience in the wood industry and experience leading a production team. You'll be focused on providing leadership as they operate equipment safely, produce quality products, and achieve production targets. You'll need experience with lean manufacturing concepts & techniques to ensure your team runs efficiently.

You'll manage the scheduling of production employees and manage the labor budget. We need you to coach, teach, & build up people and celebrate the successes as well as hold your staff accountable for goals. You'll need skills such as communication, listening for understanding, team building, problem-solving, decision-making skills. Fully embrace safety compliance and lead by example. You'll need a solid understanding of product quality standards.

Skills needed for this Production Manager include problem-solving, decision making, team building, creating cooperative relationships, data analysis, budget management, ability to manage continuous improvements mindset and find ways for processes to be more efficient.
