Job Description
The Pain Management Technician provides support for physicians and
RN's throughout pain procedures by preparing, providing and caring
for instruments and equipment, and maintaining a sterile field.
Other duties may include floating to PACU Nerve Block area to
assist RN with sterile tray set up for nerve block procedures.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of pain management and
procedures and equipment. Performs all responsibilities/duties
required as defined in the scope of service, to ensure that the
unique nature of the client is addressed. Maintains current
knowledge/certification/licensure. Pursues professional growth and
development. Maintains supplies/inventory for department. Performs
all responsibilities/duties required by the Pain Management
department as defined in the scope of service to ensure that the
unique nature of the client is addressed.Assist in other duties as
assigned to support the operational needs of the department and
organization. May be required to remain on campus immediately
before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
