Harper Tech is currently seeking a qualified, knowledgeable IT professional to provide consistent and excellent service to our growing client base. If hired, you would be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems on small to medium sized networks.An ideal candidate would be both highly knowledgeable and customer-oriented. Efficient communication skills are a must, and prime candidates will be exceptionally detail oriented. Success in this role will include the ability to create highly useful documentation. Organization and attention to detail are among the highest desired skills aside from technical aptitude and skills. This role will require moderate physical labor and familiarity with installing infrastructure cabling for various building/structure types. * Our goal is to create value for clients that will help grow our company's reputation as a Concierge Culture IT Service Industry Leader where it pertains to network infrastructure install and maintenance. Job Duties and Responsibilities-- Assemble and install network rack and related equipment-- Map wire paths and install cabling in accordance with TIA, BICSI, and IEEE Standards-- Map wireless infrastructure install solutions in accordance with TIA, BICSI, and IEEE Standards-- Pull, terminate, and troubleshoot Ethernet Cabling-- Pull, terminate, troubleshoot, and test Fiber Optic Cabling.-- Pull AV Cabling such as speaker wire and HDMI Cable-- Assemble, install, and adjust mounting hardware with Cameras and Wireless Access Points-- Install Network Switches, routers, and firewalls. -- Meet deadlines and communicate site needs with enough notice to produce desirable outcomes. Job Requirements and Qualifications-- Must have at least 2 years field experience with infrastructure.-- Must have an excellent driving record and reliable transportation.-- Must be familiar with TIA, BICSI, and IEEE Standards-- Highly qualified applicants will also carry an industry standard certification. -- Ability to obtain and maintain TWIC -- Ability to operate Scissor Lift, Platform Lift, and utilize ladders/scaffolds safely.
