For additional details, or immediate consideration, please contact (424) 531-6086.Description:Aerotek is partnered with a client in Mobile, AL who is seeking Sheetmetal/Structures Mechanics to perform modifications on Aircraft. These positions are indefinite contract opportunities that have the potential to convert to direct. Sheetmetal/Structures Mechanics must have an aircraftbackgroundwith modification experience. They'll need to be experienced with bucking/shooting rivets, working with a variety of hi-loks fasteners, and be able to work off of engineering drawings. The may also be occasionally working in the component shop to perform a variety of component repairs (ie, hydraulics, pneumatics, actuators).Basic Requirements:Perform all maintenance in accordance with FAA approved data and to the standards of good workmanship as required by Airbus DS Military Aircraft, Inc.Keep safety of flight in the forefront at all times in the production of an airworthy product.Scope of Work:Accurately and legibly record all information required on internal company forms and aircraft maintenance documents in conformance to company, customer and FAA requirements.Ensure appropriate use of the correct tools for the application and that tooling is serviceable and calibrated when necessary.Locate, understand and implement the appropriate technical data used while performing maintenance.Experience:Certified by FAA with a current Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic license is preferred but not requiredAdditional Skills & Qualifications:MUST have Structural modification/repair experience (5+ years)Prefers Fixed Wing, but will consider rotaryMUST be able to work off of engineering drawingsA&P preferred but NOT requiredFor additional details, or immediate consideration, please contact (424) 531-6086.
