Job Description:
A company is looking for a Certified Coder to ensure accurate
reporting of ICD-10 and CPT codes for compliance and risk
management.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct ongoing chart reviews and abstract diagnosis codes
Provide training and education to providers on coding and risk
adjustment
Coordinate management activities with various departments within
the organization
Required Qualifications and Education
Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist
(CCS) certification
Two years of previous coding experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of current coding guidelines and HCC Risk Adjustment
Model preferred
