And if that's you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionJob Description SummaryDesign, defines and implements complex system requirements for customers and prepares studies and analyzes existing systems. Determine system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system. Resolve program support deficiencies. Develop and recommend corrective actions.Your Responsibilities:We ask that you have technical skills relating to process control systems. You will need to support customers throughout the life cycle of project work. This will include providing hardware and software engineering, system start-up, and customer training. The customers may be both external and internal.Main Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of technical tasks with direction from a Lead engineer
  • Analyze customer's requirements to determine the control system solution and determine applicable hardware and software control configuration/architecture
  • Help with the conceptual hardware and software systems design, determination of control system strategy to meet customers' requirements while complying with industry codes/standards and assure that personnel/machinery safety practices are implemented
  • Perform software development of custom application software
  • Oversee integration of 3rd party hardware and control systems
  • Write technical specifications and project reports
  • Visit 3rd party suppliers and panel shops to assess progress, provide technical assistance and perform inspections
  • Help with the technical planning and direction of internal and customer system testing
  • Take ownership of issues, able to engage all levels of the organization to bring issues to resolution
  • Provide on-site control system commission
  • Manage their own natural reactions so there are no behaviors getting in the way of their effectiveness
  • Team player with the ability to integrate with other team project members

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job openingThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:
      • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
      • 2+ years' experience of process control system applications throughout the project lifecycle from initial design concepts through to installation and subsequent client support.
      • Experience with Rockwell Automation Products hardware and software product suites (ControlLogix, Logix 5000, FT View, FT Historian and FT VantagePoint.) experience.
