Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer/Analyst to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EB), Air Dominance Division (AFLCMC/EBA).

Responsibilities

The Air Dominance Division has responsibility for developing, producing, and sustaining Counter-Air and Counter-Air Defense systems for our nation's warfighters and foreign military customers. These products include, but not limited to, the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM), the High-speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) Targeting System (HTS), the HARM Control Section Modification (HCSM), and Air Intercept Missile (AIM)-9X. The division is responsible for all Foreign Military Sale (FMS) cases of AMRAAM.



Duties include, but are not limited to:

US Air Force Fighter employment expert providing operational analysis of AIM-260 requirements and system performance
Develops and updates system requirements documentation and Concept of Operations (COO) documents
Performs threat analysis and integrates results into AIM-260 requirements development
Contributes to system modeling and simulation efforts by reviewing model inputs and system performance results and develops Global Factor space for the modeling environment
Develops system performance analysis plans and verifies results. Develops system capabilities briefs and briefs operational and acquisition stakeholders
Serves as liaison between the program office and ACC/A8Z and OPNAV N-98
Provides system integration expertise to outside stakeholders, including Air Force Research Lab, HAF/A9 and ACC/A9, the Virtual Warfare Center, and industry partners
Supports the program Senior Materiel Lead with the application of operational expertise to acquisition strategies and program execution

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligible
Bachelor's in Engineering (ABET-accredited degree required)
Master's degree in engineering related field or related Ops Research field
15 years of relevant experience
1000 hours of 4th or 5th Gen fighter Aircraft flight time

Desired Qualification or Skills:

USAF Weapons School Graduate
F-22 experience
Air Force or Navy Operational Test Experience

Other:

Travel Required - 30%
Ability to effectively communicate in written, verbal, and presentation format
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative small-team environment
MS Office proficiency
