Description:Aerotek is seeking an Industrial Services Superintendent who is responsible for leading the construction, maintenance, repair work from previous projects or new projects that are additions or ancillary "special projects" These projects are much smaller and the superintendent and team may complete up to 4 projects in a day, or be on 1 project for multiple days. Project types could be repairs, concrete sidewalks, pipe bollards, roofing repairs. Responsibilities:

• Assembles members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other workers) at start of project.
• Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
• Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
• Confers with supervisory personnel and other company representatives to resolve complaints and grievances within work force.
• Confers with supervisory and project management personnel and inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
• Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules.
• Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.
• Directs workers concerned with major maintenance or reconditioning projects for existing installations.
• Prepares and reports payroll, per diem, daily reports, safety rosters, etc.Skills:

    • Construction maintenanceAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Four to ten years related experience of metal building erection, ironwork, concrete foundations Must be computer savvy and be able to use a Ipad or Tablet to pull plan from cloud and complete progress reportsKnowledge of PlanGrid, Internet, Vista by Viewpoint, Excel, and Word is preferred.Valid Driver's License, CDL A preferred but not requiredOSHA 10 minimum, OSHA 30 preferred, First Aid/CPR preferredCertified Crane Operator preferred-Ability to speak Spanish is preferred; Experience in both concrete and steel is preferred-Must be willing to travel and work nights/weekends/holidays if required About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
