Operator The Equipment Operator supports maintenance and project
activities at the Olin McIntosh facility by safely operating a
variety of small to large industrial equipment. This role is
critical to material handling, equipment placement, and supporting
craft personnel while maintaining strict safety and operational
standards in a chemical manufacturing environment. Other duties may
be assigned. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Operate small to
large industrial equipment including heavy industrial forklifts,
telehandlers (lulls), aerial lifts (boom and scissor lifts), and
select dirt equipment such as backhoes and track hoes. Support
maintenance and project crews with material handling, equipment
positioning, and site logistics. Perform daily equipment
inspections and report defects or maintenance needs. Follow all
facility, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements at all times.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and hazards in an active
chemical facility. Communicate effectively with supervision and
craft personnel. Perform additional tasks as assigned to support
site operations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum
of 3 years of experience operating industrial equipment. Experience
operating forklifts, telehandlers, aerial lifts, and light
earthâ??moving equipment required. NCCER certification preferred
but not required. Requirements Valid driver’s license required.
TWIC card required (receipt accepted). Must be able to pass site
orientation and required safety training. Applicants must be
