Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Paralegal to join our litigation team in Allen, Texas,
on a fully remote contract-to-permanent basis. This role offers a
unique opportunity to work primarily remotely while occasionally
supporting in-person trials and hearings in Collin County and
Dallas County. If you have a strong background in family law and

Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys with trial and hearing
preparation, including managing exhibits, clients, and witnesses. •
Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions,
orders, and discovery materials. • Conduct client intake and
provide counseling on family law matters with professionalism and
empathy. • Maintain and track case deadlines using calendar
management tools, ensuring timely submissions and follow-ups. •
Collaborate with attorneys, court staff, clients, and experts to
facilitate case progress. • Utilize case management software and
e-filing systems to handle administrative tasks efficiently. •
Ensure compliance with the Texas Family Code and family law
processes. • Prepare attorneys for mediation, interim hearings, and
trials with thorough documentation and support. • Monitor and
manage billing requirements, meeting a minimum of 120 hours per
month. • Keep organized and prioritize tasks effectively, adapting
to shifting priorities as needed. • Minimum of 5 years' experience
as a paralegal, with at least 3 years specializing in Texas family
law. • Proficient knowledge of the Texas Family Code and family law
procedures. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail,
with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. • Technologically
savvy, with experience using Microsoft Office Suite, eFile Texas,
ShareFile, Adobe/Kofax, and case management tools such as Clio
Manage and Clio Grow. • Excellent communication skills to interact
with clients, attorneys, court staff, and other professionals. •
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines with
minimal supervision. • Familiarity with discovery, trial
preparation, and mediation processes. • Experience in calendar
management for tracking case and internal deadlines.
