Job Description:
A company is looking for a DB2 System Administrator to work
remotely on a government contract.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain software and DB2 environments in compliance with STIG/SRG,
including applying security patches and documentation
Provide technical services and support for database software on
mainframe systems, including installations and upgrades
Utilize SMP/E for software installation and maintenance on the IBM
Mainframe platform running z/OS
Required Qualifications
Active Secret security clearance
IAT Level 1 certification (A+ CE, CCNA Security, Network +CE,
SSCP)
Experience with DB2 software on mainframe systems
Knowledge of departmental SOP and documentation procedures
Familiarity with database migrations and application software
upgrades
