Oasis Systems is in search of an SE-3 Cybersecurity Penetration Tester at Eglin AFB, FL.Our cybersecurity test team is searching for new members that can help us conduct system security analysis on systems and/or software to understand and identify vulnerabilities. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment, learning new technology areas, this is the place for you. We provide a number of opportunities to learn ranging from on-the-job training with other team members to formal courses for unique technology areas. This position is supporting the 48th Test Squadron / TGED at Eglin AFB.We realize that no one will have all of these qualifications. We are looking for people that can bring a strong foundation in one of the listed areas and are motivated to learn the others. Position responsibilities can span from compliance testing to penetration testing, depending on skill set.This position is eligible for a sign on bonus.LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FLJOB STATUS:Full TimeTRAVEL:Yes - 30% CONUS / OCONUS TDYsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills) SECURITY CLEARANCE:Active SECRET clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret - (Single Scope Background Investigation), U.S. Citizenship RequiredEDUCATION:Technical Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity or Computer Science and over 3 years of relevant technical experience in the field of cybersecurity and/or IT systems. Six years of applicable technical experience may be substituted for the technical BS degree requirement or four years of experience with an applicable Associates DegreeCERTIFICATIONS: Must be able to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level 3 certification (CASP, CISSP, etc.) and CNDSP Analyst - Certified (CEH, GCIH, etc.) within 6 months of hire, and maintain certification throughout employmentEXPERIENCE LEVEL: 3-10 years of applicable experienceREQUIRED SKILLS:U.S. Citizenship is requiredActive Secret clearance is required and must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearanceExperience using modern penetration testing tools and methodsAbility to identify and exploit web application vulnerabilitiesAnalytical skills and problem-solving skillsGood organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skillsExcellent self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervisionAbility to work effectively in small and large team settings to solve complex problemsSignificant knowledge of Windows and Linux (including Kali) Operating SystemsMust be able to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level 3 certification (CASP, CISSP, etc.) and CNDSP Analyst - Certified (CEH, GCIH, etc.) within 6 months of hire, and maintain certification throughout employmentPREFERRED SKILLS:Experience performing penetration test eventsKnowledge of source code vulnerability analysisKnowledge of network security/engineeringKnowledge of common wired and wireless network protocol structuresExperience using interpreted languages (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)Knowledge of compiled languages (C, C++, Assembly, Java, etc.)Certifications: OSCP, OSEP, OSWA, OSWE, OSED, OSCE, GCIH, GPEN, and/or GWAPRESPONSIBILITIES:This position provides support to the 48th Cyberspace Test Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL. This support includes the following:Conduct independent penetration testing, data collection, test automation, and reportingDevelop test tools and strategies for cybersecurity testing in DoDPerform system security analysis on systems and/or software to understand and identify vulnerabilitiesExecute hands-on testing which include significant technical skills with multiple operating systems.
