Position SummaryOdyssey Systems is currently seeking a Client
System Administrator to join our team at Eglin AFB,
Florida.ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:
- Must be a fully competent professionals in all aspects of the
subject matter area
- Able to devise new approaches to problems encountered and
perform all functional duties independently.
- Experienced with the Microsoft Windows desktop operating
systems, Windows applications, as well as network peripherals such
as printers and scanners.
- Assist with system administration of network, Web, and/or
communication systems, including LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN)
systems, involving network security;
- Assist with managing hardware and software, perform
configuration management and troubleshooting on IT related
equipment;
- Assist end-users with the operation and restoration of
information systems;
- Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of
business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or
cloud based and optimizes system operation and resource
utilization, and performs system capacity analysis, planning, and
lifecycle management.
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business
systems, and;
- Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated
solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical
paths required for complete solutions.
- Knowledge of a wide range of telecommunications theories,
concepts, principles, practices, procedures, DoD policies,
standards, and operational requirements.QualificationsMinimum
Required Qualifications:
- Completed Bachelors degree, seven (7) years of professional
experience and IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+, CySA+);
or
- Completed Bachelors degree, five (5) years of professional
experience and IAT Level III certification (ex. CASP+, CISSP);
or
- Completed Masters degree, five (5) years of professional
experience and IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+, CySA+);
or
- Completed Masters degree, three (3) years of professional
experience and IAT Level IIIcertification (ex. CASP+, CISSP)Desired
- Windows Server Operating System certification desiredMust be a
US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background
investigation.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret
clearance by date of hire.Relocation assistance may be available
