This position reports to the Business Manager-Technical Service for
US Hospital Products and is part of the Global Services
organization. - Global Services strives to deliver an unsurpassed
value driven experience that makes Baxter an essential service

This position will travel to customer 's h ospitals/clinics to
provide technical medical device and digital connectivity services.
- Provides guidance, improvements, and training to customer
personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, inspection
procedures and analyzes equipment failures to determine cause and
recommends corrective and preventive actions.
o - - - Analyzes equipment failures to determine cause and
recommends corrective action. Advises and assists in effecting
design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost
of operation. Participates in implementation phase.
o - - - Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs,
equipment, policies, and procedures.
o - - - Successfully completes instrumentation training at Baxter
o - - - Provide on-site technical instrumentation in-service and
o - - - Schedules service calls with customers in accordance with
current procedures published by national and regional
o - - - Coordinates projects with multiple departments of the
hospital/clinic to reduce the impact to the customer.
o - - - Provides installation/repair service/upgrades/device
returns within time requirements established by service
o - - - Connect devices to a facility 's wireless or wired network.
Responsible for support and troubleshooting of end to end
wired/wireless connectivity between Baxter medical devices and
hospital information systems to include the EMR vendor. - Work with
colleagues and customer IT team to provide local support for
installation and problem solving.
o - - - Travel within U.S.
o - - - Quarterly product performance reviews with customer.
o - - - Performs other duties as required.
o - - - Excellent written and verbal communication ability
o - - - Medical Device support/repair/technical knowledge
o - - - Must possess credible base IT knowledge on general
connectivity, network integration of devices, wireless protocols,
mobile network technologies
o - - - Ability to exercise independent judgment and draw accurate
conclusions based on available information.
o - - - Associate degree or equivalent in a related field.
o - - - Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
