Job Description:
Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Grand Bay,
Alabama. This is a per diem (as needed) position offering
flexibility in work hours and scheduling. As a PRN SLP, you will
provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to
patients in various settings, including acute care, outpatient, and
long-term care, as needed. This role is ideal for someone looking
for flexible hours and the opportunity to work with a diverse
patient population. Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat
speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for
patients of all ages. Develop and implement individualized therapy
plans based on patient needs and goals. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding
speech and language conditions and treatment strategies. Maintain
accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatments,
and evaluations in compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in team meetings and case discussions to contribute to
patient care plans. Stay current on best practices, treatment
techniques, and industry trends. Qualifications: Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state
licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Alabama. Certificate
of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from
ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) preferred.
Previous experience as an SLP in a clinical or healthcare setting
is preferred but not required. Strong communication, interpersonal,
and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as
part of a collaborative healthcare team. Ability to work flexible
hours and adapt to varying patient needs. CPR certification (or
