EnduraCare Acute Care Services (ECS) is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of our licensed physical therapists to aid patients in their recovery and rehabilitation processes. This role requires a compassionate individual keen on making a significant impact in the lives of patients through personalized care and therapeutic practices. Assist physical therapists in developing treatment plans according to patient needs and goals. Implement selected components of patient care, administer interventions and treatments, and document patient responses. Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in learning and improving functional activities. Monitor and report changes in patient conditions and progress towards recovery. Ensure efficient communication with other healthcare professionals and participate in patient case conferences. Maintain equipment and ensure treatment areas are functional and organized. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions Basic understanding of physical therapy principles and practices Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and technology Keen observation skills and ability to assess patient progress Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or certification eligible in the state of practice
