Job Description:
Job Description Our well established dental office is looking to
add a new member to our dental team. We have an immediate opening
for a permanent, 1-3 days per week Registered Dental Hygienist .
Hours are typically Monday’s 6:30 am-4 pm, Tuesday's 7:30 am-4pm
and Wednesday’s 7:30 am-5pm. We offer competitive compensation,
paid time off, Quarterly profit sharing bonus, group health
insurance and after 1 year of employment you are eligible for our
401K matching plan. We are a health focused practice that works
hard, but also knows how to have fun! This position will require
you to build relationships with patients and co-workers, have a
high level of communication skills and most importantly have a
positive attitude. Applicant must be warm, caring, self-motivated,
adaptable, organized, able to get along well with others and
demonstrate exceptional follow-up without having to be reminded.
Education in dental hygiene is a must along with a willingness to
learn. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Main duties include but are not
limited to: - Performing routine cleanings, scaling & root
planning, periodontal maintenance - Anesthetizing patients as
needed - Educating patients at each visit - Taking digital x-rays
(Bitewings, Periapical's, Panoramic) - Creating and reviewing
treatment plans with patients as needed - Preparing your operatory
prior to each patients arrival - Properly cleaning your operatory
after each appointment - Help keeping up on sterilization
throughout each day - Completing accurate procedure notes after
each patient - Patient relations & communications - Occasional
answering of telephones, greeting patients, corresponding with
other dental offices and some scheduling of patients as needed *Our
office uses PEB Xldent dental software and we will train you. *We
schedule 1 hour routine hygiene/periodontal maintenance
appointments *We schedule 2 hour Scaling & root planning
appointments per side of the mouth *Rarely are you expected to see
a new patient prior to the dentist completing a full examination.
