Job Description:
As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at {EMPLOYER-DESC}, you will
be specializing in the physical treatment of children and
adolescents, providing care that helps young patients improve their
range of motion, strength, and motor skills. You will develop
tailored therapy programs to facilitate the physical and
developmental progress of each patient, utilizing a variety of
therapeutic interventions and techniques specially designed for
children. Assess and diagnose the physical function and
developmental issues in pediatric patients. Develop and implement
individualized care plans focusing on functional mobility and
developmental milestones. Use therapeutic exercises, gait and
mobility training, and other methods to improve patients' motor
functions. Educate patients' families about the therapy process and
support them in understanding growth and development related health
conditions Collaborate with pediatricians, school teachers, and
other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach
to the patient's health. Document patient progress accurately and
maintain up-to-date health records. Stay abreast of the latest
pediatric therapy technologies and methodologies. Expert use of
pediatric therapy techniques and treatments. Strong interpersonal
skills to effectively communicate with children and their families.
Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet the needs of individual
patients. Proficiency in documenting treatments and patient
outcomes. Capable of managing a caseload and prioritizing patient
needs. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid physical therapy license in the practicing
state. Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical
Therapy (PCS) preferred. CPR and first aid certifications.
