Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing services to patients within a correctional environment. The LPN delivers nursing care as directed by the Physician within the scope of the State Board of Nursing Practice for the LPN.Pay Rate: $25.00/hourMatching 401kNow offering PayActiv so you have access to the money you have earned before pay day!Respond and intervein to all emergency situationsConduct Patient Intake paperworkVerify and obtain orders for patient medicationConduct Sick Call clinicOrder / maintain supply of patient medication from pharmacyAdminister medications following nursing standards and correctional regulationsComplete and document ordered treatments, patient care, and collection ordered labsAssist provider with Chronic Care Clinic and Provider sick call visitMonitor for, report and document changes in patient's conditionAccurately document all patient information, nursing care and interventionsEnsure daily nursing task are completed within prescribed timeframe.Maintain patient confidentialityAssist with training and orientation of new personnelFollow QCHC policies, procedures & guidelinesPerform other job-related duties as assigned.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.Requirements:Successful completion of an Accredited Vocational/Technical SchoolCurrent and valid LPN or LVN licenseCurrent CPRMinimum of one year of clinical experience in a health care setting as as LPN.One year experience in a correctional health care setting is preferred.#IND1by Jobble
