Please apply to be considered for this opening and/or others.A facility in Mobile, AL is seeking a Locum Nurse Practitioner to start as soon as credentialed for a 6-month assignment with possibility of extension.

• HIGHLY COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION.
• 1099 Locum Tenens Assignment.Details:
  • Target Start: As soon as credentialed.
  • Duration of Need: 6 months w/ possibility of extension.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday + night and weekend call.
  • Provide primary medical coverage in collaboration with PO physicians as needed.
  • Performs initial, semi-annual, and annual assessments, performs additional assessments of participants as needed and implements appropriate plans of care to PO participants.
  • Participates in discharge planning for acute and long-term placement.
  • Evaluate and treat participants during acute illness. Prudently prescribes medications, therapies, and other treatments for participants. Following consultation with the Primary Care Physician refers participants to medical specialist as indicated.Requirements:
    • Master s Degree in Nursing.
    • Board Certified by ANCC or AANP.
    • Active Alabama license.
    • 5+ years of experience.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly population is strongly preferred.
