This is a new specialty offered by the facility. They will take the lead from the psychiatrist in regards to their schedule, patient load, etc. Cases will consist of mental illness, depression, anxiety and anything else the provider is comfortable with Substance abuse is not a requirement.

Health Center is a non-profit, federally qualified health center founded in 1975. Health Center consists of twenty-one locations in 6 counties in Alabama. The services provided includes pediatrics, OB/GYN, family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics, rheumatology, dentistry, optometry, physical therapy, nutrition services, wellness & fitness, social services, substance abuse prevention and treatment, HIV/AIDS services including case management, health education, pharmacy, laboratory, x-ray, and transportation services for the homeless.
