Job Description & RequirementsRegistered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care - (RRT - PICU)StartDate: 03/01/2021Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1350.00 - 1600.00RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP required. PALS preferred. BLS must be through AHA. Currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida as a Registered Respiratory Therapist; Minimum one year experience required; BLS, ACLS, and NRP required - must be approved by the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross. 2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. The Respiratory Therapist is either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care to provide Cardiopulmonary Services. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policy and procedures in order to provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include: assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, maintaining airways, ventilator management, insertion of arterial lines, intubations, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases.Required QualificationsFL licensed Registered Respiratory TherapistPreferred Qualificationsn/aJob BenefitsAllied travel assignments are typically for 13 weeks and offer generous packages that include:
