We Are Hiring $5,000 Sign on Bonus--with 2-year commitment and Tuition Assistance Available!--Join our family of dedicated, highly valued Telemetry nurses at Providence Hospital. --Providence Hospital is a 349-bed comprehensive healthcare facility for emergency, cardiovascular, cancer, orthopedics, obstetrics and surgical services located in Mobile, Alabama. Our Level 10 Telemetry department--consists of 47 beds.--Schedule:

• Full Time: 36 hours
• Day Shift: 7am-7pm
• Rotate every other weekend
• Holidays: Two major and two minor
• Department allows Self-Scheduling with the understanding weekend and holiday obligations are met. --What you will do:As a telemetry nurse, you are the ---watch tower--- for our patients who have ongoing health conditions.-- You will monitor patient vital signs, and record and interpret the data from the monitors, and use it to assess a patient's rate of recovery or to help doctors determine treatment methods. You may dispense medication, staying vigilant to avoid drug interactions. In addition to this, you will provide general patient care, assist doctors with procedures, and deal with any emergencies that come up. As patients recover, we expect you to educate them about their conditions and how to avoid relapses or potential problems after they leave the hospital.--Why join Ascension?

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required
  • Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider--credentialed from the--American Heart Association (AHA)--obtained within--1 Month (30 days)--of hire date or job transfer date.--
