Assistant Project Manager-Service
Department: Service Department
Reports To: Service Manager
This individual is responsible for all aspects of service projects
with direct responsibility for project execution while leading a
team, or teams, to accomplish specific objectives in a given time
frame with available resources. The position requires extensive
knowledge of the HVAC service industry and may be responsible for
developing and training employees under their supervision.
Job functions and duties (other duties may be assigned)
Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer
Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and
project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system
Communicates with customers and their representatives, including
building owners, subcontractors and field support staff on
Examines and reviews contracts and estimates for accuracy and
Ensures compliance with internal contracting processes.
Establishes fulfillment budget for assigned projects by revising
original estimate based on validated project scope.
Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at

Creates and makes revisions to project schedule.
Oversees equipment, materials, subcontractor and vendor orders,
recording receipts and approving payment.
Receives and qualifies subcontractor proposals and supervises work

budget, progress and close out.
Supports sales function by assisting with quote preparation and

Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns,
