Status: Not Required Collins Aerospace is currently looking to
bring on a Quality Inspector II professional that will support the
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) facility. The Inspector
performs visual and dimensional inspection of parts, subassemblies,
and major assemblies in meeting blueprint and specification
requirements. Inspections consist of using standard measuring
instruments as well as special measuring instruments and gages.

shift hours (6:30am-3pm) Monday – Friday, with flexibility to work
overtime and alternate shifts. What You Will Do Ability to work
varying shifts, or overtime as required You will need to pass a
color/vision test Perform detailed product inspections on in
process and finished goods, including but not limited to First
Article Inspections. Document characteristics of products
accurately and with technical detail. Initiate Quality
Notifications for any non-conforming products. Apply quality
assurance procedures and requirements to the inspection of hardware
and to document reviews. Identify any potential quality issues
early and help to prevent their occurrence. Communicate effectively
to other Collins Aerospace personnel any quality issues needing
resolution. Monitor and utilize calibrated measuring instruments.
Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications You Must Have
Typically, HS diploma or GED with 1 year of relevant experience is
required Experience with Microsoft office suite: Word, Excel and
Outlook. Experience performing manufacturing or product inspections
using blueprints and specifications. Experience performing
measurements with Precision measurement tools, such as micrometers
and calipers Qualification’s We Prefer Experience utilizing
computer systems including input of data and retrieval of
information for inspections and configuration purposes. Experience
reviewing documentation and identifying/ resolving any errors or
missing information. Ability to use operating software including
SAP 3 years in an Aerospace or similar inspection role What We
