Job Title: Pipe Welder 1st Class Pay: $38.00 Must be able to pass a lifetime background Qualifications: 3 - 5 years of experience as a Pipe Welder 1st Class in a shipyard Read and interpret basic drawings and weld symbols. Pass weld test procedures in the 6GR position Pass TIG weld test procedure Must have full set of personal tools Always be ready to start shift on time Ability to successfully complete onboarding procedures in preparation to pass 6GR weld qualification test requirements for copper nickel, carbon steel and stainless steel Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and measure using the metric system.
