Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support
for elementary students in Fairhope, AL, under a contract position
for the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves working with
K-5th grade students within elementary school settings to assess,
diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, ensuring
students receive tailored interventions that support their
communication development. Responsibilities: Deliver individual and
group speech-language therapy sessions to elementary students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational
professionals to develop and implement IEP goals. Conduct
assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate records.
Provide recommendations to support communication skills in the
classroom environment. Participate in team meetings and contribute
to a multidisciplinary approach. Qualifications: Valid Speech
Language Pathologist certification or professional license.
Experience working with K-5 student populations preferred. Strong
knowledge of speech and language development as well as therapeutic
techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with
school staff and families. Location: Fairhope, AL (Elementary
Schools) Start Date: March 15, 2026 End Date: May 29, 2026 Hours:
Approximately 35 hours per week This role offers the opportunity to
