We are looking for a professional and compassionate Receptionist to
join our team at Riverchase Billing. In this role, you will be the
first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing
essential administrative support to our staff while ensuring a
welcoming atmosphere. The hours are flexible from 5:30am-4:30pm
working Monday-Friday. Duties and Responsibilities Essential
Functions Greet and assist patients and visitors in a welcoming
manner. Answer incoming calls and manage patient inquiries. Collect
payments for services rendered, processing transactions accurately.
Handle insurance verification and communicate with patients
regarding billing inquiries. Prepare and distribute receipts for
payments collected. Assist with administrative tasks, including
data entry and filing. Coordinate with staff to ensure timely
patient check-ins and smooth clinic operations Manage and process
medical record requests from attorneys, liability companies, and
other authorized entities while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and
legal requirements. Marginal Functions Other duties as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office
Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong written and verbal
communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of
a team. Must have good attendance record. Skilled in maintaining a
professional and effective working relationship with other
personnel. Familiarity with administrative duties. Attention to
detail. Must be able to see clearly with or without corrective
lenses and hear clearly with or without aids. Must be able to use
hands, fingers and wrists, repetitively, using a computer keyboard
and other office equipment, regularly. Must be able to proficiently
speak, read and write in English. Information Security and Data

Education Min/Preferred Education Level Description Minimum High
School or GED High school diploma; additional computer training or
certification will be an asset Years of Experience Minimum Years of
Experience Comments 1 At least 1 year of clerical experience
required. Certifications Min/Preferred Certification Description A
combination of experience and advanced education may be
substituted. Background checks and drug test required.
