Job Description Job Description Overview The HR Shared Services Center (SSC) Business Optimization team is seeking a highly skilled and detail?oriented Contractor to support our Payroll Operations function. This role is essential in maintaining the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our HR and payroll processes through systematic validations, reconciliations, and involvement in system enhancements within Oracle Cloud HCM. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong HR systems knowledge, payroll operations expertise, and analytical capabilities to contribute meaningfully within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Perform system validations and reconciliations within Oracle Cloud HCM and related HR/payroll platforms to ensure data accuracy and process integrity. Support design, testing, documentation, and implementation of system enhancements and process improvements. Assist in preparing and executing payroll and HR transaction audits, ensuring compliance and data reliability. Analyze payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency; identify discrepancies and support timely resolution. Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation for optimization initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally with HR Technology teams and HR SSC Payroll Operations to support end?to?end operational effectiveness. Utilize Microsoft Excel to execute data analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and data validations. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system features, integrations, and enhancements. Clearly document findings, issues, and recommendations and communicate them effectively to stakeholders. Required Qualifications Experience working in HR Shared Services, Payroll Operations, or a similar function, ideally in a business optimization or systems support role. Hands?on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM or other major HRIS platforms. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze large datasets and create structured reports. Demonstrated expertise in performing data validations, reconciliations, and supporting audit activities. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem?solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross?functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure DevOps or other project management/collaboration tools. Background in system testing, UAT coordination, or process optimization initiatives. Understanding of payroll compliance requirements and regulatory standards. Experience using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) for reporting and data analysis.
