Description:
The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; they will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting project management programs. A typical financial analyst is responsible for collecting and communicating financial information for clients.

Responsibilities:
--- Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
--- Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in cost forecasting.
--- Utilize CMMS (Maximo) to issue Service & Purchase Orders to vendors.
--- Manage CSI process to track project costs accurately.
--- Provides regular cost updates to Management and Stakeholders.
--- Maintains organization of information for yearend accruals.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
--- Financial and/or accounting experience required.
--- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
--- Ability to work independently and manage one s time.
--- Basic ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
--- Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
--- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other related financial software (Smart by GEP, Ariba, SAP).

Education:
--- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related financial discipline required.
--- An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
