Description:
The role of Bookkeeper is responsible for managing all financial
transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank
deposits and budgets. Bookkeeper responsibilities include auditing
financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and
sales tax payments. This role will provide the company with
accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity,
and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we're compliant with
all regulations.ResponsibilitiesManage all accounting
transactionsInventory ControlPublish financial statements on
timeHandle monthly, annual closingsReconcile accounts payable and
receivableComply with financial policies and regulationsOther
duties as assignedSkillsWork experience as a BookkeeperHands-on
experience with accounting software - QuickBooks OnlineAdvanced MS
Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tablesStrong attention
to detail and good analytical skillsCommunication and people skills
Strong written communication skills
Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Prolonged periods
sitting at a desk and working on a computerAble to travel as
needed.2+ years experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Associate or
other Accounting related roleHigh School Degree or higher
