We are seeking resumes for a Senior Accountant in our Jackson, AL operations.

Principle Responsibilities:

Responsible for the operation of multiple accounting systems, administrative functions, supporting procedures and classification/recording of accounting transactions. Prepares special, non-recurring reports as needed by management, prepares and/or reviews interpretation of accounting results and projections of accounting data, reviews accounting analyses, and advises management of the results. Serves as technical resource and problem solver, utilizing accounting knowledge in analyzing alternatives and preparing solutions to complex operating or administrative problems.

Basic Qualifications:

BS degree in accounting or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience preferred.

Heavy cost accounting experience and analysis in a manufacturing environment a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong emphasis in Excel.

Working knowledge of accounting applications in a computerized environment, which may include Trident, PeopleSoft, Standard Grade Cost, and Elixir software applications.

Demonstrated ability to direct, plan, schedule, and supervise specific projects and functions.

Experience and knowledge of business' financial issues and economic impact beyond technical accounting knowledge.

Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate, present ideas and information with management at all levels.
